Eat Worm
This article is mainly about Vovinam’s reputation. There are so many Vovinam
websites out there. Some of the Vovinam disciples are expressing their opinions on how Vovinam should be run. Unfortunately, these bring some
negatives feedback toward Vovinam from the public.
Luckily, there are very few of this type of websites.
Most Vovinam
disciples sacrifice many positive ways for Vovinam.
Not just for certain individuals, but for Vovinam,
the form itself. After communicating with many Vovinam
disciples, we came up with this article.
As we know ‘a worm messes up a pot of soup’, this
statement is based on the negative feedback from public readers. However, there
are two solutions to solve this problem:
Scoop up the worm, throw it away then drink or
eat the soup.
Eat that worm.
We should follow Ghandi
and Martin Luther King’s way of expressing our feelings and defend Vovinam by following New-York based Guardian Angel’s way. Rather than concentrating on Vovinam’s weaknesses, Vovinam
disciples must build on Vovinam’s strength.
People who create negative impacts on Vovinam deserve to be called ‘worms’ (even thought, they
came up with some words of their choices and denied what they did was wrong,
the damaged has been done). In other words, if they did not create something that
makes readers mistrust Vovinam then do not worry
about it. For everyone who truly cares about Vovinam,
they would be called ‘worm eaters’.
Surprisingly many Vovinam disciples already
informed us that they want to be ‘worm eaters’. God bless Vovinam.
Well, what ‘worm eaters’ have to do? Simply, just ignore all the material that has negative impact on Vovinam,
create more positives ideas to
promote Vovinam, that is all.
We are sure that wherever late Vovinam founder Grand Master Nguyen Loc, he is watching
over all Vovinam disciples.
