Letter from Grand Master Le
Sang
Dear Disciples, One
should posses virtues and behave properly toward your fellowman with respect,
righteousness, intellect and trust in order to be successful, happy, loved
and respected. Behavior can be
changed to fit the circumstances, but the content should always be sincere
and heartfelt. Is
there anybody who has a happy life, but lives without righteousness; who is
respected, but lives without humanity; who governs people but lives without
righteousness; who governs people, but lives without good manners; who
performs carefully and appropriately, but has no intellect; who has
followers, but exists without trust? No
one can achieve success and glory without the support of friends and
community. Thus, one should always be grateful for that support. Gratitude is
an act, which expresses the quality of an educated person. Conversely, we do
not blame the ungrateful person, but ask ourselves whether or not we extended
out concerns to them with all our hearts. An experience of happiness through
a good deed is too great spiritually to create happiness for others first. To
gain happiness one should create happiness for others first. To create
happiness for others is to create happiness for us. To perform a good deed is
not only a duty, but also a benefit of health and soul to resulting in a
relaxed situation. Those
who hand to others a rose should be left with a pleasant scent on their hand.
Happy life for those who put justice and righteousness first. Beautiful life
for those who live with humanity, respect, intellect and trust. The
lives of those described above are stable, glorious, and happy because they
know how to live the sole desire for a common benefit. They will then be
loved and honored. The world will be a better place if everyone were to live
orderly lives knowing that in order to receive, one must first give. |
